New M15 Garruk?

So while looking at spoils for Born of the Gods I saw there was a page for M15. I took a peak and much like M14 we saw new Chandra art. Except now its Garruk. Do we see him coming back as a new one and being Golgari due to Liliana's curse placed upon him? I am curious.
I'd like some older planeswalkers to come back, like Koth or Venser or idk, the dragon guy.. but not sure how lore will fit in (maybe they died?? idk) but m16 = Jace???? m17= Ajani and then m18 = Lilliana?
m13 should've been liliana, because 13 is bad luck and black..like lilliana??? idk.......

Personally I want a new Sorin. Bad. He easily one of my favorite cards in magic, in almost any form (especially Sorin, Lord of Innistrad ). Another Venser wouldn't be too bad either.

You won't see another Venser, in the lore he died during the events of New Phyrexia. Its possible on Koth since we never find out whether or not he survived. That being said I would like to see some more throw back to older characters and sets in general myself. It won't be done through the core sets though, these are the sets WoTC uses to get newer players int the game so its meant to very simple. You don't keep it simple by jumping clear into the middle of an older story

I think Koth of the Hammer is dead too. In the story about Elspeth's letter to Ajani she kinda mentions that Koth is dead.
But I would like to see Venser in a supplemental product, but he won't be appearing in card form any time soon.

@JWiley129 We actually don't know, its hinted that its unlikely but she actually says herself that she doesn't know one way or the other.

i would bet money something stupid brings Venser back to life someday. Perhaps as the dreaded 3 color planeswalker...esper colors

Venser was already in a supplemental product, he had a duel deck.
Personally, I think that Liliana needs to be made anew. Granted, not on the power level of Liliana of the Veil , but something a bit better than the Liliana of the Dark Realms that we've been stuck with...
New sorin would be cool, old sorin reprint would be cool, new Gideon would be raw as heck, new Garruk that is aggressively costed would be awesome.
Basically, I would love to see something new that doesn't insist upon itself.

PrimeSpeaky - I know we don't know if Koth is dead, but it's my opinion that he's dead.
ThatBlueMage - I meant a new Venser, not a reprint of Venser, the Sojourner .
jmallette1 - I don't think Venser has anything in his character that is black, so bringing him back as an Esper planeswalker doesn't make sense. Also Maro said that they want 3-color planeswalkers to be something special that doesn't happen very often. E.g. Nicol Bolas, Planeswalker . The one that might make the most sense is a Naya Ajani.

on Garruk: MAYBE they'll upgrade his status, too. sort of. i mean, they did it with Xenagos and probably Elspeth when JOU set comes out

JWiley129 Venser being brought back to life by Liliana for whatever reason would result in him being a sort of zombie planeswalker. All the same powers but now hes undead, hence the addition of black in his cmc and becoming a 3 color esper planeswalker. Boom.

Venser can teleport you....to oblivion yo...as seen in Dispatch that's pretty evil man...jk anyways i think it'd be weird to see 2 colored walkers in a M set. Maybe...and this a huge maybe he'll be so messed up from the curse he'll temporarily be a solid black walker spawning abominations instead of beasts

why would Garruk be the cursed version in M15 if in M14 he wasnt. with a story line behind him and liliana, they would tell it in an expansion set and not a core set which has very little lore to it.

swkelly89, Garruk's probably going to be a major player in DotP 2015. Whether he's the protagonist or the antagonist we don't know. Besides, Avacyn managed to temporarily cure him of his curse with the Cursemute, but it was only temporary and evidently it came back.

Well, he already has a cursed form being Garruk Relentless Flip , but a G/B one would be neat, and provide for a bigger range of abilities on him.
I'm sick of him and Chandra basically being the same card every set...
