So Hero's Podium will probably never see Standard or Limited play, but it could be really good in EDH depending on the amount of legendary creatures that the deck runs. 5 color EDH decks, especially ones that run lots of legendary creatures, will like it.

On the other hand, Glimpse of the Sun God looks pretty good in Limited and maybe Standard. It scries, which is good, but that can tap down your opponent's creatures for an alpha strike or tap your creatures for the Inspired mechanic. I think it could be a nice alpha strike setup for White Weenies, and a great way for Inspired to trigger In Standard.

Thoughts?

I look at "Glimpse of the Sun God", and view it as:
W - Instant - Scry 1.

...If Gridlock isn't seeing play in Standard, the only thing that might let Glimpse see play is the Scry.

Fun in Limited though... will likely be used there.

Also, great in EDH with Sunblast Angel !

Gridlock isnt' seeing standard play because blue has much better options. In a white Weenie build, this could be used much more efficiently than Gridlock in any blue deck.

Hmmm...I might just include this in my white weenie build. Or at least in the sideboard. Really interesting card, the scry 1 isnt bad either

Also, Inspired wasn't there yet, it might actually do some things.

EOT tap my own inspired creature(s) to trigger it on the upkeep and also the remaining blockers could actually be kind of like a card draw for X, depending on all the different inspired effects and at the same time set up your inspired for the next turn.

Could indeed be a strong limited card but probably won't see much of constructed.
