I want to subscribe to this thread so I'll just say that I'm hoping for Mishra's Bauble, Voice of Resurgence, Horizon Canopy, and fetches. No one has mentioned fetches, but that sounds possible since they weren't in bfz

yeah those would be some really great cards to be reprinted, Mishra's Bauble is insane at $20, and i think this will be a good opportunity to finally get those damn fetch reprints

I will be very displeased if ZEN fetches are not reprinted. Damnation too.

Moonbar you'll be disappointed. There's a very low probability (I think) that we see ZEN fetches here.

I'm hoping fetches are not part of this set. I would much rather see them in a standard-legal set where it will actually influence the value of the fetch lands in a major way. $30-70 per card just for mana fixing is ridiculous. As an added bonus, it would help balance (lol) frontier. If they're reprinted in modern masters, that's a sign that we're not going to see them reprinted in another set for a long while. I'd say it's more likely that we're going to see buddy lands or shock lands.

Moonbar Wizards have said they are reprinting ZEN fectches in an upcoming STD set. I'm hoping for Damnation as well!

my guess is that the ZEN fetches could be in Amonkhet, because I think the new Gods will be 3 coloured and each will have one of the shard combinations. Wizards printed the fetches in Khans to be good mana fixers for that environment, and the same could happen in Amonkhet.

dottydog6111 also, Amonkhet has full art lands. Previously only seen alongside fetches on Zendikar (un-sets excluded). Could Amonkhet also be a Lands Matter set? Why else would they include full art lands? If it is, then Zen fetches is not that far fetched ;).

I'm hopeful, and really stoked about Amonkhet. Not because of Bolas, but because I just love desert themes. An Egyptian style theme should be a lot of fun. Bolas is just an added bonus. Come one and show me some modern Hazezon Tamar!
Back to the subject though, I'd like to see some dredge creatures like bloodghast and vengevine reprinted as rares in the set.

I dont think there is a mechanics-based reason for full-arts in this set.
Imo, full lands are in the newest set purely to make wotc $$$. Not a bad thing at all since they are a business,making money is their reason to exist.

griz024 On a question why not every set has full art lands MaRo said that full art lands are only for Zendikar because Zendikar is a Lands Matter set. Now full art lands are back. I guess that means Amonkhet is a Lands Matter set.. Or Wizards gave in and they are printing full arts in EVERY set. I doubt the latter tho, since full art lands is a selling point for their product.

I doubt that the full art lands will be tied to any mechanics in the set. Wizards have said that the full art basics will only appear in 1 out of every 4 packs. They may pertain to something in the story since each one appears to be closer to the horns than the last, but I feel their availability is too infrequent for this to be a true "lands matters" set. Besides, BFZ-OGW is still relatively fresh. It would be too soon for another landfall set.

Diddy ho is correct. I remember hearing that on manasource and/or mtggoldfish podcast.
Should have mentioned that in my argument.
Considering the 1 in 4 nature of these lands it is clearly a money making inclusion. Honestly, i hope they continue this method of making full art basics, but not the theme. Every set has several lands i wish were full art. So id be very happy if every set has fullart versions of the normal basics

Lgs owners have mentioned their distributers are letting them order as many boxes as they want. That could indicate a larger print run. As far as i know no one has confirmed so rumor for now

I would like to see a reprint of Lord of Extinction, because I would like to have a copy of it for an EDH deck that I am building, and I do not wish to pay $15 or more for it.
