Yes, but Ob Nu won't really be overcosted when he becomes huge from killing everything else. He also stops people from playing fetches late game and shuts of the Yisan decks (which are already a thing).

If we dont get a similar Wrath of God card, im pretty sure control will have a hard time to handle the pressure from aggro and midrange decks.

Not necessarily, remember the "control" deck has access to the largest toughness creatures in the form of Brimaz, Courser, Slvan Caryatid and has access to the best removal spells in the form of Bile Blight, Heroes Downfall. Also End Hostilities is a 5mana board wipe.It's appropriate because the meta will slow significantly with the rotation of RTR

With this spell, you really only need a ramp deck and any one fatty monster to get decent use out of this card. No need for Ob's over costed self when Polukranos, World Eater or the inevitable Azban bomb are available.
