Could Dack Fayden be the key to the Chain Veil?

Last time we saw Dack Fayden, he was on Theros trying to find the root of the "Sleep Curse" caused by Ashiok. If we ever revisit Theros, either by popular demand or to continue the story, two things are near certain: Elspeth and Dack will be involved in some way.

Being Liliana is a new member of the Gatewatch and they are now the safeguards of the multiverse, the threat of Ashiok corrupting an entire plane is a pretty good reason to investigate and attempt to solve the problem (plus Gideon may want to return to get revenge on Erebos at some point). If Liliana does go along, whether it's to meet th God is Death and gain some sort of power from him herself or just to test her powers to see who truly is the master of the dead, there will be a way that Dack and Liliana meet and, using his powers of psychometry, Dack may be able to give Liliana information on the origins of the chain veil, what its true purpose is, and how to control it.

If my theories align in some way (not necessarily like how I organized them, but close), it may also grant us a reason to explore the plane the chain veil was created at: Shandalar, a place we haven't yet visited. Additionally, it may also give us a reason to create an Oath of Dack, which would be really cool considering it could be a U/R oath. Pretty sure something like this should happen some time in the future, and given Mark Rosewater has stated Shandalar and Theros are very anticipated planes to visit and revisit respectively, on top of how many players he mentioned want Dack to be a part of a real Block set at some point has lead me to this conclusion. We got a Soul of Shandalar in M15, my guess is we visit there after Kaladesh.

They've been pushing a Return to Theros since we left Theros; M15 had a focus on Theros, Gideon's from Theros, C15 had 2 main commanders from Theros, Elspeth is on Theros and her story certainly isn't complete, Ajani is on Theros and his story certainly isn't unique, todays Magic Story focused on Theros, etc.

We're going back, it's only a matter of time.

I actually don't mind Theros, as much as people complain about it. I think devotion is one of the more interesting mechanics that have come out in the past few years.

Obviously, they could have been a lot more original with a lot of the god stuff.

Shandalar sounds cool, as long as we don't have any more eldrazi :P

I....did not like Theros. Devotion was the best thing about that block. We've just had so many "return" blocks lately, I hope they give us at least two new planes in a row before returning somewhere.

Theros was a terrible block power-wise (especially compared to RTR and ISD before it), but lore-wise I have no issues with it. I think now that they've stunted Standard enough, they can make the return a higher powered block

Wabbbit, that was the plan since the block formation changed!

Theros was certainly a big win for lore but a terrible block for playability. It's likely we will go back.

I'd like to see a return tot Theros at some point int he future. Not too soon but it would be nice, maybe in like late 2017-2018. I rather like enchantment creatures, and it was the first set released after I got into Magic, so I have a fondness for the plane.

I wasn't a big fan of theros, the flavor was good but even the best mechanic, devotion as mentioned above, was just a nerfed chroma. (Primalcrux, Outrage Shaman, Heartlash Cinder)

I would be nice to see it fixed though, maybe something more game changing than creatures that die to Erase
