So, tonight I had a rather hilarious encounter with a young chap who took it upon himself to come onto a deck thread and let me know I was making horrible card suggestions. I suggested Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle for a modern red goblin deck. Now, I know this isn't a GREAT CHOICE. I'm just one of those dudes who tries to fit as much strategy into a deck as possible and lands, well lands do a lot. Dude literally hit me with card %.......Like.......Ok man. The site does that too, Do you have any Card suggestions yourself? You know since the guy asked for help.....Do you have anything positive to add? ......"No"

This is my sultry salt lick of a new friend.....NinjaReaper90 and his new favorite and might I add stylishly delicious troll profile wolfpigsucks.

Feel free to share your favorite Tappedout trolls and "Mommy never hugged me" types below and maybe together, We can make the world a better place!

Same dude tried trolling one of my decks as well. Claims to be a veteran player, but doesn’t seem to understand how a reanimator deck works. Looks like his account got deleted before it got to the same level.

He comes across as someone who hasn't played a lot of table top magic. He seems like an Arena player to me. Someone who either hasn't played competitive Legacy and Modern or someone who just relies far to much on what ever card testers odds tell him. Anyone with sense knows......Trust the heart of the cards!.....and play what makes you happy!

You're both equally at fault and you making a topic about the matter doesn't help you at all...

You engaged in a comment argument with another user at another person's deck? Don't do that unless the deck creator is also involved in the discussion which is not the case. You said in this very topic, "I know this isn't a GREAT CHOICE" referring to playing Valakut in Goblins. You know it's not a good choice then also except that someone might call you out on it?

When that happens, which it did, (probably surprised you), deal with it or ignore it. You know Valakut is not a good card choice then why are arguing that it is a good choice? You can't take criticism which is just as bad as the other guy's actions. The Goblin deck is trying to be aggressive with one/two drops on a low budget. The fact that Valakut ETB tapped and is $15 should of ended the argument; it wasn't a good suggestion.

Other than Valakut you both gave good advice at the Goblin deck, but his reasons for not playing Valakut were very valid and correct. You should except it and move on. Instead you made a topic ridiculing the guy you were arguing with? He took it too far with making a new profile to troll you and actually attack you personally. That wasn't the right approach to take and it's ban worthy. If you're that upset talk to an admin about the matter; don't resort to making a topic and trying to rally support for yourself in the forums. He wasn't trolling you when he first commented at the Goblin deck; after he definitely did. All his comments can be read from his original profile.

Something to think about is you decided to attack his helper rank number and knowledge of Magic. This is a line of defense for a someone who's lost the argument and that's what sent him over the edge.

TappedOut is a great little section of the internet, with one of the most helpful and kind communities I have experienced. However, this is still the internet, and trolling is always a possibility.

For a little over a year, there has been one person in particular who has made dozens of alternate accounts to circumvent uncounted mutes. It appears you, and others, had the misfortune of encountering some of those accounts, which is quite a shame. Those accounts have been dealt with, but I would not be surprised if others sprung up to take their place.

Now, seeing as this is the internet, I think it is important to remind everyone not for feed the trolls. In the future, if you encounter either this troll, or any troll on any site, the best course of action is disengage and ignore.

All that said, let’s not allow entropy to spread further than this one individual. It is not overly helpful to create threads to discuss individual users, even problematic ones. I am going to close this thread, lest it lead to more problems than it solves.
