Players at MTSU?

Anyone on here who goes to Middle Tennessee State University? With the Fall Semester about to start, I'm looking for some new additions to my rather small playgroup. We play mainly Standard and Casual, but working into EDH and Modern.
I generally play on campus, so Nashville might be a trip just for some casual magic.

Fulcrum Give me a couple years? Haha, I'm going into my junior year of highschool so I'm not quite there. But I do live just about twenty minutes from MTSU.

@Dalektable: Can't say I've ever heard of it. I go back and forth between Grand Adventures and Outer Limits.

Fulcrum It's my favorite. It's by Stones River Mall, and is great. They don't have the biggest variety of cards, but I love the community and the owner is great. You should check it out sometime.

@Dalektable: I'll check it out as soon as I get back into town. To tell the truth, I don't like Grand Adventures or Outer Limits all that much. It generally has a decent variety of cards, but I'm not too fond of the players. There's a couple good guys, but not too many. Probably why I didn't play much last year.

In that case I would definitely recommend Roll the Dice. Everyone (for the most part) is very nice at RtD, and I havent really had a bad experience with the players. And the owner makes a point of knowing his customers by name, he's very cool.

@Dalektable: Sounds like a great place. If you're ever in Memphis, check out Comic Cellar. Pretty much everyone there is really nice (if vulgar), and the owner is just a really cool guy. And he tends to remember everyone who goes there, which is a lot of people. He even remembered me after the eight months I spent in Murfreesboro.

Funny thing, I'm a RD at MTSU, and googled MTG at MTSU. I'm looking for a pretty cool place around here too. My friends are in Lebanon, so I don't really have anyone around here to play with.

I'll be back at MTSU around the end of August. I'll definitely be checking out Roll the Dice. Also, a few friends and I generally play some casual Magic in the cafeteria beneath the JUB most days. You should look for us when the Fall semester starts up. You can also email me at [email protected].

Dalektable Fulcrum I may actually be able to play this weekend at RTD or at Grand Adventure possibly. Move-Ins have been hectic.

Dalektable Fulcrum I think at Grand Adventure it starts at 7pm, but you have to get there early to assure a table.

So I went to Roll the Dice tonight, got fifth with my Junk deck. Probably should've top 4ed, but I made several play mistakes against a BW deck that led to a draw instead of a win. Overall record was 3-1-1 (my loss was to the guy who got first with Rabble Red). Thoroughly enjoyed myself, everyone there was really nice and conversational. Very unlike Grand Adventures.

Fulcrum Hey, awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed yourself, I always have a good experience at Roll the Dice even If I don't do to well. Last night I actually went to a draft with a couple friends over at hastings and got 1st with an insane pull (TWO Jace, the Living Guildpact !). So maybe I'll see you around next week or something!
