So I am a huge fan of the site and plan to intend to totally eventually buy tokens someday in the future not now, and when I do I'd rather feature someone else's deck, and was thinking of deciding who's by a contest. I was wondering how to go about this, wether it be a (MTG related?) Trivia challenge, something more like a deck building challenge, or any number of things. Any suggestions on what the contest/challenge/thing could be woukd be great! All I really have to specify is I do NOT want a raffle or anything purely random.

Hell if it turns out to be really fun and I can spare a few bucks I may even make it a monthly thing.

Trivia is always fun, but the fact that anything can be looked up on the internet kind of works against that, unless you are going by the honor system. Complicated rules trivia (which the site has done before, I think hosted by mafteechr?) is far harder to cheat on , as contestants/participants have to scour the Comprehensive Rules for specifics, which I think was actually encouraged, but we only had a day or so to email in results.

Deck Building challenges have long been a staple on this site as far back as I can remember (6+ years), and they seem to spark the creativity in people. You can either do something similar to zandl's challenges where he takes all the decks and faces them off against each other single elimination style, or you could do a user poll to vote for the best deck, especially if it is themed somehow.

metalmagic Rules trivia would be fun but I may wait until I am an L2 judge (in the process of becoming an L1 as we speak) but some tournament style themed deck sounds fun. I'll play around with that, thanks!

No problem! I am currently an L1, so if you want any help with that sort of stuff (prep for L1, or any contests) I'll be more than willing to oblige. Good luck with whatever you end up doing!

I am rather intrigued by this idea.

I remember Zandl's challenges. I won one of them. You'll generate lots of traffic from such things.

Oh, I was mentioned. Hi, I'm an L2 judge. I don't use Tapped Out much anymore, but you can find me on Twitter at @slashinfty.
