I'll be playing Team Sealed at the Nashville GP next Saturday, November 1st. Will anyone else be there?

I will be there, as well as Darkflow

I thought about it, but I don't have a team to be on. Plus, sealed isn't my forte.

I live there, and I've debated doing the main event but I don't have a team ready. That might change, but I'll probably find my way there eventually. I also found out today that LSV will be at GP Nashville too.

This is my first GP, so I don't know what it's really gonna be like, but I heard something about card vendors where they sell cards cheaper than usual. Can someone confirm or anything?

It's my first gp as well, but I know vendors will be there, I don't know how much cheaper things will be though. Think they typically buy cards at a better price than the lgs though

All right, I'll be there tomorrow (Friday) as well as Saturday. I'll be the sleepy-looking guy in the glasses and black jacket who's gone too long without a haircut or a shave.

That doesn't really narrow much down.

So I did not enjoy this event as much as I anticipated. We had terrible luck start to finish. Firstly, after registering your pool there was supposed to be 3 or 4 exchanges before you ended up with the pool you would build from, we had 1 exchange. A member of my team tells the judge and he's pretty much like "oh well, this is your pool" so we get a different judge and he just tells us to listen to the first judge. So we ended up shafted with a purely terrible pool, valuing less than 30 bucks, and with little viable synergy to build around.

On top of that I witnessed multiple teams' decks being piloted only by the member in the middle, which wasn't illegal but kind of annoying. After countless mulligans to 5 and 4, just wasn't a good time for me.

I did enjoy meeting the artists and all the vendors there. As well as getting to see some of the pros in action, but I don't think team sealed is the way to go for me after this

@mpeach1: Sorry to hear that. My team had better luck, even though we didn't get much value. We still dropped after round 7 once we got our fourth loss (I personally went 5-2) but it was pretty enjoyable. Cynthia Sheppard signed my playmat and a playset of Treasure Cruise , even altered one to look like a dragon.

@Fulcrum yea I got those same signatures from Cynthia Sheppard lol. I saw some amazing alters she did for various friends of mine throughout the day.

Did you by chance to get to participate in any side events?

@mpeach1: I did the Mini Masters pack wars on Friday morning, but was short on cash for any of the other side events.
