I have all of Pauper Tron that overlaps with Modern Tron, an I realize price is not a big issue here whatsoever, but is there any chance of RUG Tron (or any other decks for that matter) to become too oppressive so that it will be nerfed in some sort? Just wanted to know because I'm going to hop in the store pauper league.

Pauper has a really small banned list, I think you're safe bruh. If I end up being wrong, then please forgive me!

Depending on how you look at it, one or two words.
Counter - Spells
The deck will never get a ban as long as Counterspell is in the format. Blue tron, i'd say, is the most likely candidate, but even then it's a stretch.

yeah, the Pauper banned list is tiny. It's essentially Storm, Cranial Plating, Invigorate, Treasure Cruise, and Cloud of Faeries.

Agreed with JWiley129, if anything the banned list seems scared of storm the most with Grapeshot banned. I think that's stupid, but I'm one of those weidros who thinks the modern banned list is stupid too.

Storm is utterly broken in pauper. You have access to the best cantrips the game knows (Ponder, Preordain, Brainstorm, etc), every mana accelerator (Dark Ritual, Rite of Flame, and Lotus Petal, to name a few), and no FoW to keep it all in check.
But yeah, RUG tron is safe.

The nice thing about pauper is that even if it does, you're only out $20.
