Set Redemption

I was wondering how set redemption works. Is it something where you can buy the redemption in the online store and keep it until you get the full set? or do you have to have the full set when you buy the redemption?

1/ Get all the cards from the set. You cannot reserve a redemption.

2/ Ask for a redemption.

3/ pay 25 bucks fee for the pleasure (not sure if it includes shipping).

If you redeem a set, will the cards get removed from your MTGO account? I guess they would be, right?
