Your T5 1-Drops?

I've been messing around with Ranger of Eos a bit in the last few days, trying out this and that. Mistcutter Hydra for obvious reasons, Double Faerie Impostor for massive EtB, Rhys the Redeemed for token shenanigans, Exalted weenies like Akrasan Squire and Duty-Bound Dead... all the janky stuff.
Doing so got me curious... What would you guys fetch with it? What are the two one-drops that you would play after dropping a Ranger of Eos? Which other cards would you use to support them? Name the strongest, the craziest, or your personal favorite, all ideas are welcome as long as the cards are Modern legal. Yes, it's a shame that S.N.O.T. isn't...
don't have the rangers yet, but for my deck Norin the Wary and his Sisters of Soul it would probably be either Norin the Wary, Legion Loyalist or a soul sister

Noble Hierarch is good. Goblin Guide is good. I use to run a Knights deck and get 2 Student of Warfare off him. Sometimes Dragonmaster Outcast works fantastic too in the late game.

Well, the canonical use of it is to grab Martyr of Sands and Serra Ascendant in Soul Sisters, or 2 Ascendants if you're already at 30+ life. I also have played around with fetching cards like Student of Warfare in it as well. In the case that you decide to integrate it in Zoo, the likes of Wild Nacatl and Goblin Guide are good fetch targets.

I've never played Ranger of Eos but the first thing that come to mind is Vexing Devil. Probably terrible, but it strikes me as a funny play.

Norin sisters with the Dragonmaster Outcast finisher could be hysterical.
If you could find a way to use Ranger and Death's Shadow, I'd be impressed.

Those are some quite interesting ideas there... I like the Serra Ascendant play. One nice thing I forgot to mention was a fetching chain of Ranger of Eos into Behemoth's Herald + Goblin Bushwhacker into Godsire.

You mean something like Ranger of Eos into Death's Shadow + Hex Parasite? Sounds like a risky but stylish move...

I've never noticed Behemoth's Herald before. Not bad.
Shadow and Parasite does a decent Phyrexian Dreadnought and Torpor Orb impression. I like it.

Hm, that would really be the perfect timing to get a pair of Scute Mobs into the hand... One could even fetch a fifth land with that Weathered Wayfarer if need be.
