What Modern decks will see more spotlight thanks to the reprint of the ONS fetches?

Essentially what decks do you think will become more popular or will see more play due to the better mana base in Modern?

Mostly 3 color control variants. They are the once who need the mana the most. Some fringe decks might be run for fun(looking at my goblins) but they will likely be just for fun. Naya decks will get better fetches so that might be a thing, I know Ill be running my R/G and Naya aggro decks more now that I can get inexpensive fetches for them to go with my RtR shocks. My Grim Lavamancer s will also get more food in my burn decks(both modern and legacy).

I think khans in general might open up sultai (BUG) tempo/control decks in modern. I also think that a temur (RUG) zoo type thing could happen easier now Maybe even mardu aggro or midrange if it gets good as support to fill the holes?

The fetches don't actually do too much. Mana is good enough in the format that all this will do is give the best decks slight upgrades. Grixis Control will not be better because Bloodstained Mire and Polluted Delta are now legal. The cards they have access to still don't provide for a cohesive, powerful deck. Grixis doesn't have Celestial Colonnade , Lightning Helix , Path to Exile . Remember that UWR gets Flooded Strand too.

Melira Pod will drop Misty Rainforest for Windswept Heath if they want to (doesn't really matter), RUG decks can play Wooded Foothills should they want, Naya gets considerably better mana, Faeries gets their fetchland.

Remember, though, that all the best decks get better mana too. The less powerful decks won't have to pay a million life, but they won't get better without actual cards.

I am just glad that my modern Jund deck will have almost the same manabase as my legacy one... Sans Wasteland and ABUR duals. Which makes thing quite nice.

All will be well with me, unless some asshole at R&D decides to reprint Stifle .

I mean, fuck, if people start doing that in modern, I am just going to start running DRS and BBE in my deck on principle.

Might as well, my mana base looks right and the bullshit ability tricks are abound.

I agree with VampireArmy about the BUG Control thing.

BUG Delver could possibly happen, maybe even just BUG Control. But i feel BUG is very powerful in the modern meta right now, and i feel that Polluted Delta may not seem like it will do a lot, actually will make the mana base perfect.

But then again, GlistenerAgent has a point that the fetches really dont do A LOT, but i feel they will still help. For example, hatebears now has a fetchland, same with RB Burn.

Trickbind ... Ima use it, i'd like to see someone's reaction when i counter there fetch land XD
