Thornbow Archer vs Shadow Alley Denizen

I'm planning to replace my Shadow Alley Denizen with a Thornbow Archer. Will it be a good move?

Personally, I would keep Shadow Alley Denizen.

Thornbow Archer only gives you 1 extra damage, but SA Denizen can help ensure your bigger creatures are not blocked, dealing more damage than just the extra 1.

Although of course, Thornbow Archer is in standard, so if that is necessary then, well, use it.

It really depends what deck it's in though... If it is on tappedout, then please post a link.

Sorry to change my answer, but in this case thornbow archer is probably better, since your deck doesn't have many big creatures

That's the exact same thing I thought about when I replaced it with my Thornbow Archer. What do you think about my deck by the way?

I agree that Thornbow Archer is a better choice. If you ran Rancor or a full set of Madcap Skills it would be a different story.

What stands out to me is difficulty inherent in running 3 colour low cmc with no fecthes. Especially with the double GG or RR in Boon Satyr and Ash Zealot respectively.

Swaping in Magma Jet to help hit the lands you need, or pull creatures you can cast, might go a long way.
