Sup my fire starters! So I wanna hear about your match analysis. Good match ups, bad ups. I also want to hear about what you sideboard.

For instance, RDW is designed to be extremely consistent and without interruption, win turn 4-5, sometimes turn 3. This has been the case in many matches I've had. With experienced players, piloting good decks even.

My Affinity matchup is 50/50, a bit better post board. I wreck most Aggro, do pretty well against Gruul Tron, Twin, and Melira Pod. My worst matchups, believe it or not, are against control. There are several very good control players in my meta, piloting American, Blue Moon, Blue Tron, and U/W. I've recently adjusted my sideboard to include Shrine of Burning Rage and Vexing Shusher , but haven't had the opportunity to test it.

In any case, what are your thoughts and experiences? Advice and suggestions?

I also have trouble against control, and have not had an opportunity to test my rejuvenated sideboard which also includes Shrine of Burning Rage . Affinity also has been a poor matchup, with pod, twin, tron and aggro being much more easy. I am loving Rakdos Charm out of the side though, slaughters a large amount of decks post-board. My current sideboard I feel well about and encourage other Burn decks to try something similar, currently it is

3x Dragon's Claw

3x Molten Rain

2x Rakdos Charm

2x Shrine of Burning Rage

2x Slagstorm

3x Wear / Tear

Scapeshift and BGx (especially Jund) are your best matchups. The former is really slow, and the latter deals itself tons of damage. I've watched countless Jund players fetch-shock-Thoughtseize -concede.

Shrine of Burning Rage is a very strong card, especially when people are playing Dragon's Claw and Sun Droplet to try and stop you.

You should be sure to run high numbers of Wear / Tear , as Leyline stops you cold and Affinity is a prominent matchup that can be slowed down enough to burn them out.

I recommend trying Rain of Gore , as it helps stop Kitchen Finks and basically any lifegain even more than Skullcrack or what have you.

quesobueno123 I may have helped with that deck... :-)

Shrine of Burning Rage seems good on paper against control to close the match. I'm interested in seeing results. To improve the Affinity matchup, try Forked Bolt , as it can kill two critters for .

I'm splashing and running 3x Destructive Revelry in the side to combat potential Leyline of Sanctity and other enchantments. It's replaced Smash to Smithereens for it's utility. I like Rakdos Charm for it's utility, however I rely heavily on Blood Moon being brought in, which would Negate a heavy splash.

GlistenerAgent I've tested against Scapeshift on the site with good results, but haven't IRL. G/B/x decks are typically in RDW's favor due to the amount of life loss incurred by the deck. Goyf can be problematic, however.

I run Skullcrack and Flames of the Blood Hand main and side in Anger of the Gods for Kitchen Finks shenanigans. I had Everlasting Torment in my side and have contemplated about adding in a few... Again, I can't do the splash.
