Mono white dnt

Havnt seen a good result for mono white death and taxes in ages. Where does it stand inthe meta nowadays? Completely fallen off the tier list? Whats holding it back.

The thing is you lack a lot of the 'Tax part' in Modern. The Legacy version plays cards like Mother of Runes, Rishadan Port, Karakas, Stoneforge Mystic + Batterskull, etc. The power level is totally different.
Imo, Stoneforge Mystic in Modern would allow for DnT the be a thing. Swords & Batterskull are still very powerful when cheated on. Some say it could break the format, but I don't think so. I mean Jace, the Mind Sculptor is legal so...

the problem with unbanning stoneforge is more that DnT would be the weakest thing to use her for, affinity would love being able to always get their equipment.

Affinity is now Hardened Scales, and I don't think you really need her in the build. This new card is cool for DnT, though.

DnT has a lot going against it in modern as it's difficult to both build for an event as well as master to play. Humans run thalia overall better as well as vial and field allowed many decks to better hate on tron breaking up that niche mono white dnt enjoyed. So DnT requires way more effort to be run well, the meta is rather wide to properly hate on matchups, other decks with similar playstyles put up better results, and I guess I didn't mention that since other decks have similar playstyles it shows how much similar decks can hurt Dnt.
Now one thing mono white Dnt has going for it is if you're in a meta that small enough you could focus build it to really hit that meta hard, another is that for a modern deck it's rather cheap and instead of many modern decks on a budget it has staples you can use for future non budget lists.
