Modern And All Its Glory

Dearest Modern,

Why is it that you are held closest to my heart, yet your prices some times make me uneasy?

-Is it because I have created a time machine, in the future, and purchased mass quantities of cards to ensure a family fortune for my descendants? (Though I couldnt interrupt my present timeline, as my current sufferings help evolve my character.)

-Is that why Wizards has decided against Modern PT in 2015 to aid in controlling prices until we get reprints that will help stabilize costs of cards for easier access in this format?

Have you become so obsessed with power that you had illusions of grandeur while roaming in the The Garden Of Eden with Unicorns that you came across a snake that convinced you to make Theros Block?

-Is it because I have so much thirst for power (Hence, Why I didnt involve my theoretical time machine in my current time line as it would have darken my soul.) that you needed to slow down the format to give us a kinda reality check?

-Or is it because your prepping us for Magical Christmas Land in the sense that the power level will increase in some areas to keep Modern from becoming stale and broadening the format?

Does this mean that Earthworm Jim is a tell-tall sign that worms will take over earth acting as if they are the hero but really in fact the protagonist reigning hell on earth, especially when it rains in muddy areas?

Edit: Does this mean that Earthworm Jim is a tell-tall sign that worms will take over earth acting as if they are the hero but really in fact the protagonist reigning hell on earth, especially when it rains in muddy areas? I really meant to say, Does this mean we will see a new era in this format coming within the next two years especially with minor instances, such as, but not limited to, the reprint of Onslaught fetches being introduced into this format giving other and new decks a chance to become Tier 1?

-Four score and seven years ago our fathers brought forth on this continent, a new nation, conceived in Liberty, and dedicated to the proposition that all men are created equal. (What Abraham Lincoln said in real life in the true story Vampire Hunter.) So he was actually referring to the future of Magic the Gathering in bringing us together for a stronger, better, more resilient format that has the freedom to be a sovereign power for each individual creating endless power to behold equally distributed to all in Modern, within reason of course. Yada Yada .

Yours truly, and the love of your life,

A Fellow Fetish MTG Player

@zandl The result of drinking a bottle of Jagermeister, some 151 while watching Aqua Teen Hunger Force and playing some Mtg.
