Karma and other cards VS BGx?

What do you guys think about Karma as a one-of in sideboards against Jund and Junk? It more or less can't be removed and fights the inevitability machine that those decks have. Thoughts? And what are some other good sideboard cards against those decks (I'm terrible at building a sideboard XD)?

Not so great because Jund runs so many copies of Blackcleave Cliffs, Raging Ravine, etc. They usually have 2 basic swamps and 2 Overgrown Tombs. Maaaaaaybe one Blood Crypt. They actually have very few swamps. And for Junk, it's often a similar deal. You might get super lucky and catch them on an Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth since they tend to play it as a singleton, but that's pushing it. The story might be different in your local meta, but many of these decks don't have that many copies of swamps. They'll likely fetch for one or two. That's not a terrifying clock, to be honest, especially considering you spent a sideboard slot and 4 mana to cast it.

Plus, even if you do get luck on that Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth it turns all your lands to swamps too, so it becomes a double-edged sword.

I think you might still be able to work with that. They're hurt by it faster than you are and those decks pay something like 5 or more life per game easily from lands, dark confidant, and thoughtseize. Junk might be harder since they have the damned rhino...

Karma-Urborg, Tomb of Yawgmoth-Runed Halo-or-something combo deck?

If you're trying to fight the long game fight there are probably better ways to do it, i.e Wurmcoil Engine (mainly for Jund), or stuff like Keranos, God of Storms. This seems a little too unreliable, because of the landbases of them (as mentioned above).

The effect is neat, but 4 is too much mana, considering that most decks with in them nowadays have at least 1 and usually 2 more colors.

As a player Keranos, God of Storms and Sigarda, Host of Herons are cards I don't want to particularly see... Obstinate Baloth Loxodon Smiter and the like are a minor pain. Mirran Crusader can suck to deal with if they have board presence.

formayor Already been done :)

And thanks for the tips guys. I guess I saw it as an alternative to Keranos in non-blue decks, but I can see why it's not as effective.

Just make sure to use Unlimited Karma because white border, and dumb sized text. The art is also hilarious.
