Hey!

I was preparing for the grand prix in las angeles and was wanting to study what I would be up against.

Could I get some deck lists of the top tier winning decks, or not even top tier but, just decks that would be expected to perform alright competitively. Perhaps we can discuss them too for fun, strategies.

Thanks!

Mtgtop8 shows results from mtgo events and large paper events. I would use that if you want to see what is actually putting up results.

Good luck at the Grand Prix! I wish I could go.

What are you playing? I'd be happy to help test on untap.in if you like :)

WOW thanks for all the info. car thanks for the list, that just sets me up with a good initial check list to start with.

Yah I'll check out these web sites and gather info on the top decks. That was very helpful! (time to study like for a college exam :D)

rorofat: I play a 4 color deck (primarily GR though). Its got some land destruction in it, it's tempo is very cool where I often get a lot of free turns and also has kiki angel combo late game if I need too. It's very unconventional.

The Ultimate Land Decimator!

I will HHHHAAAAppially play on untap.in! I don't know my availability so I'll just have to play 'text tag' with you for a while lol. Maybe this evening but our evenings are probably not the same time.

You're trying to hit 5 mana in a 4 color, 20 land deck.

I would literally strip your deck down and just build Zoo instead ...or at very least drop blue.

Perhaps a Life from the Loam engine would fair better.

The SB could use some help. I prefer wrath effects myself like Back to Nature, Shatterstorm, and Wrath of God but being in Nya you have the best options available Stony Silence, Rest in Peace, Ghostly Prison, Shattering Spree, Molten Rain, Destructive Revelry.

As an afterthought, if you keep blue adding Boomerang would allow you to bounce the opponents lands.

Root Maze also is a thing.

Lol. Yah a lot of people say that.

Thanks for the sideboard talk! I actually have been working hard to get a good sideboard. My deck whoops anything but heavy counter decks and junk white token decks. So I was wanting to study exactly what wins in grand prix's and decide sideboard and possibly mainboard adjustments if necessary.

Ghostly Prison and Shattering Spree are cool: I was considering shat-spree versus Shatterstorm versus Engineered Explosives.

Boomerang is rough cause they just get the land back and I lost a card. Shadow of Doubt or Squelch is better, draw a card, and has more options i thought.

mainly sideboard is what I am considering. What cards absolutely wreck other decks?... is what I wonder.
