Building around a core set uncommon

Hey guys, I was wondering what you guys thought of my deck so far. It's a UWR delver build, but the issue I'm having is that I dont want to splurge a ton of money on a playset of dark conifidant, and so I changed my deck over to a UWR build with meddling mage, but I know the deck will be UR/X, but I'm not sure if White is the color I want. Can you guys help me find a fairly cheap creature that can fit the two drop slot. (I have scavenging oozes, by the way) Here's the deck: Pyromancers come forth!
