Didn't see a thread about it so I decided to post one. For those who don't know what it is google it this primer will explain the basics.

So where you guys think this deck is going? Tier 1/1.5-2/3 or banhammer? Its already won a event with 100+ players and some other smaller events. :3

It looks fun and I'm happy a true combo deck with this much potential is in modern. I hope after it gets more playing in real life events we see it solidify and be a major player.

It's not ban worthy. Storm is easily hated out but this deck is very, very consistent which is scary. Storm just got better.

I think it helps diversify the meta a little bit by adding another potential archetype. I've always been a fan of combo decks, even if they're a tad uninteractive, because they require some skill to pilot correctly and are immensely satisfying to win with. I even enjoy it when playing against them, as they emphasize certain elements of gameplay that are downplayed in other matchups. It's an interesting alternative test for both players. I'm looking forward to the future of this deck.

First off, I would like to say I called it. Haha I made about 50$ on jeskai ascendencys I hoarded.

The deck is vicious. But it does get hated out fairly easily by a lot of cards. That said, I see it taking a LOT of game ones, and is just another reason for storm to dominate.

The thing is it might actually get banned, because turn 2 is atrocious to the format. It basically forces Thoughtseize turn 1 or if you happen to be on the play, leave up Abrupt Decay . Very few cards/decks can answer it that early.

I'm sure the meta will adjust to it once it becomes more popular. Doesn't seem broken. Weirdstorm can win on turn 2 also (probably more often that this deck), and it even gains some more consistency with Dig Through Time , but it probably won't be a T1 deck

I think it's pretty bad ass myself. I love the use of Glittering Wish in it too.

Although thinking about it more, the fact that it's essentially a two-card combo with 7 and 12 copies of each part makes the deck pretty consistent. The biggest issue with the combo itself is the possibility of fizzling, by drawing into lands and extra dorks and such. The looting triggers are really helpful though, since every cantrip can possibly turn into two more cantrips if you've got dead cards in hand.

I wish weirdstorm was able to run more copies of its combo :(

The deck seems scary to me. This card just made storm ban worthy. :/
