Any G/B Anti Sweeper Creatures?

Basically what I'm looking for are creature cards like Burrenton Forge-Tender or Selfless Spirit but in Green or Black. Thank you if you know of any.

Thoughtseize. Proactive disruption is much better than reactive answers. It is simply not worth playing something as reactive as Burrenton Forge-Tender in a BG deck to answer sweepers, which see pretty little play right now.

What's the rest of the deck like? BG aggro? BG rock?

Creatures that protect you from sweepers? None that I can think of. The poster above noted creatures that protect themselves (but not others). Alternatively, there are spells like Wrap in Vigor or Golgari Charm. Realistically, though, Toolmaster's right - stripping the sweepers proactively is your best bet.

Those are the only ones I can think of. The other anti-sweeper cards are mostly G/W (like Loxodon Hierarch).

well... if you're looking to save only one creature, you could use Undying Evil, which let me tell you... goes quite well with Kitchen Finks

Thanks everyone. So unfortunately it's sounding like the only option is white at this point. Do you know if any colorless creatures with such abilities?

Basically I run a modern Elf deck that currently runs both black and white with the green. I was considering dropping the white and go pure black and green. The only white cards in my side board are Burrenton Forge-Tender, Selfless Spirit, and Kataki, War's Wage. So I'm basically looking for replacements for those three cards. And I preferred them being creatures due to how easy it is to fetch with Chord of Calling. Any other ideas? Thanks again.

@Kizzel: I've played some Elves myself in Modern. Your best bets are Golgari Charm, Selfless Spirit, and Ezuri, Renegade Leader.

The reality is Elves gets absolutely blown out by Anger of the Gods and Wrath of God. You'll lose to basically any deck running 4 copies of Lightning Bolt because they'll just shoot your mana dorks.

The best thing to do is to hold on to your Collected Company(ies) so that you can rebuild your board after a wrath in those particular matchups.

You can also up your lord count to include Bramblewood Paragon, Oran-Rief, the Vastwood, Joraga Warcaller, Elvish Champion, and Imperious Perfect. That way you dodge Anger of the Gods, Pyroclasm, and Lightning Bolt. It also makes your Collected Company(ies) a lot more scary because you can basically Overrun your opponent at instant speed during combat.
