This is my first deck that I made and have loved it ever since.
Still working on a sideboard. It does really well since almost no decks in my meta are able to keep up with it.
I just want to know if you think you would enjoy playing it.

Also somewhat budget.
EmblemMan You might want to check out Hobbez9186. He also has a pretty cool Wurm deck that uses Deathrender and Evolutionary Leap to combo off.

Thanks for the link :)
You don't see many Wurm decks out there so it's nice to see them getting a little attention. It's been a while since I've looked at yours, I'll hop on over and see what you've done to the place ;)

It's not for me, but it looks like a very fun deck to play :)!

I have a legitimate question-flavor aside, why run almost exclusively wurms? I get that some of them are combo pieces, win conditions, etc. but a bunch of them would be better suited as better green fatties...maybe Vorinclex, Voice of Hunger, Avacyn, Angel of Hope,Iona, Shield of Emeria, Woodfall Primus, Thragtusk...hell, even Wurmcoil Engine is a better creature than Armada Wurm that still fits flavor.
What I'm saying is that I understand and love the concept of cheating big fatties into play (I play Mayael in EDH quite often), but I don't see the point of going tribal and playing some less than optimal creatures unless you're also running either lords or tribal buffs like Door of Destinies or something.

Because tribal wurms does not make an expensive deck, thats why.
Also because I enjoy it how it is. Personal choice is really what it comes down too. You could make it better by replacing some of the wurms, but I want you to think. When was the last time you lost to tribal wurms?

I've always been cautious about mana-ramp because I felt as though it was dependent on too many things. However, I love wurms and this deck looks very well built. I drew a hand from it and knew exactly what I was going to do in the first five turns. The mana ramp was very effective. I'm just nervous about the lack of plains in the deck.
Would I play with it? I don't think so. Maybe in casual play. I have bad luck with wurms.

I suppose there are two schools of thought for modern-those in it for fun, and those there to be competitive (we can get into psychographs and all of that). I mean the deck no disrespect, but I suppose I'm more of a "spike" player, meaning I get more enjoyment from winning and highly competitive play than I might from flavor wins and theme decks. I love the theme, and have dabbled in the realm of green ramp with arbor elf, birds, utopia sprawl (basically any kind of ramp you can imagine), and my findings are that the decks just can't hold up to any tier one or two deck out there. My main modern deck is tron, which can spit out wurmcoil, world breaker, even karn on turn 3...which is often still too slow for most decks. And if the average turn 3 play of tron is too slow, what does that say about ramp decks that can only match tron's ramp under ideal conditions (something like 3+ lands, 1-2 utopia sprawl, 1-2 arbor elves, AND a big threat)?

jp11th11 What bad experiences have you had playing with? against? wurms?
Sparky41 Thats fine. The deck is meant for more casual atmospheres.

Ledian, I've had bad luck with having to mulligan a lot with Wurm decks because I get all the big guys first or I don't have land. It's nothing against Wurms, their decks just don't like me. I love playing against wurms, they're fun and challenging, but I can't play them well. My decks are about a lot of small guys really quickly.

I mean I would enjoy playing it because I am a HUGE GW player and this deck is just fattyfattyboombooms.deck which is something that I enjoy.
