I have been saving up for Modern Masters 2017. This will be the be the first Modern Masters set when I will be able to acutely buy a box. I feel 180 dollars on amazon is super reasonable! -

I am super un-excited for MM3. It provides nothing to the game, has very stale drafting that is worse than pretty much every normal set and Masters sets do not help overall prices of the format at all.
If I want a good drafting experience, I will choose to cube. If I want a better value for my money in modern cards, I would buy singles.
So, buying singles for my cube > MM3.

I wouldn't care less about this set. Most exciting reprints are gonna be Snap & Lili, which I already own so... really nothing to motivate me.
I must say announcing the Modern format would be left apart 2 months before MM3 release was a freakin nice PR/marketing move. It's the topping on the cake which made me leave Modern for Legacy & EDH.

If I had enough money to afford MM17... well, I might be excited. I'm an EDH player pretty much exclusively, so it'll depend on what toys I can get for my decks, and as a set of reprints... there's not a whole lot I'm looking for right now.

Pretty sure the title is supposed to be excited anyway, I have most of the cards for my modern deck but I like opening packs so I will probably open a few of these. Itll definitely be worse than the last couple at least in my opinion but I am sure they will still have some sweet cards.

The main card I want is Cavern of Souls. Other than that, meh. I never cared that much.

I'm reasonably excited. Cavern of Souls will go down in price a bit if reprinted, which is a benefit to me. Snapcaster Mage and Liliana of the Veil may also go down a tick, which may tempt me to reach for them.

The only things I'm hopeful are in the set are tron lands so I can buy foils without spending $400 on the set of 12.

Am I the only one excited for new art? I just want to see new sweet Snapcaster Mage and Liliana of the Veil art. Damn, I can't wait.

Atually its likely lili of the veil keeps her old art. The reason there will be new snap art though is because they dont own the rights to invitational arts based off of other players.

If they reprint Tarm again, I will be really pissed off. WE DON'T NEED 5000 REPRINTS OF THE CARD. WE GET IT, TARM'S GOOD, BUT ONE REPRINT WAS ENOUGH.

Spoken like someone who either never intends to buy them or is salty about their value going down. Tarmogoyf needs to be reprinted until it's under triple digits.

I hope that we get an Omniscience, Abrupt Decay, or Doubling Season Reprint, though. I don't think we will get 2 of those- Omniscience probably either in EM2 or Conspiracy 3, and Doubling Season has already been reprint- but Decay seems plausible. I'm calling the Tron Lands x x x, Goblin Guide(Probably in EM2, though), and Soul Warden/Soul's Attendant.

I completely agree with rothgar13; Goyf belongs below triple digits if WotC wants Modern to be accessible to relatively newer players. I would love a reprint of the Zendikar fetches, though I'm not particularly hopeful, as I'd rather have them reprinted in an unlimited-print-run set. I could totally see Abrupt Decay being reprinted as well.

I personally despise the master sets they do nothing to meet demand most good uncommons and rares are shifted up in rarity they are only available in physical stores or or online so you can't go to Walmart and buy them at MSRP which sucks cause you never get your money back unless the chase cards you pull end up foil and you get more then one the draft for them sucks in my opinion so much money for so much disappointment I love to see new art work tho and classic cards in the modern card frame I'd like to see any card as long as the price go's significantly down and stays down

Despite the announcement of fetches and damnation, I am still as unexcited for the set as ever - I plan to buy 0 boxes of it.

Oh I won't buy any box for sure. It's still a waste of money provided that you get 1-2 of these foil rares.
However, it seems like a great set for drafting and since the prices are all gonna drop I'm definitely excited. I'll finally complete my playset of Goblin Guides dudes how 'bout that! :)

Zendikar fetches confirmed! I'll probably get a couple of arid mesas replace a couple of bloodstained mires in my Naya burn just an eye sore to me to have black fetchlands. I'm hoping more like dreaming that they reprint Tarmagoyf for a third time and maybe down shift it to rare. another blood Moon reprint would be nice too. Damnation edh hype woo woo!!! I'm probably the only burn player in the world who likes the old artwork of goblin guide it seems more asteticly pleasing to the eyes a goblin with a lantern is way more of a guide then a goblin with maps that's an explorer but idk

He's joking about Tibalt being confirmed. Also, Tibalt is a terrible Magic card and should not be played.
