I posted a Mardu Vampires list earlier because I have a soft spot for Vamps but this list is probably what I'm actually going to build because I already own the mana base in paper, the creatures are cheaper, and I think the tribe in general has better synergy. Yea I see what you mean, too many 3-drops for Spirits to be super fast. Lingering Souls could be cool, I'm just not sure if I want to splash black for it.

Totally understandable. I have a flier deck with it, and it's majority spirits. I also run Pride of the Clouds though so I couldn't pass up on turn one wanderer, turn two pride, turn three souls. The manabase hurts though. Still working on that deck

Since so much of the deck is instant speed, you should consider tempo-based permission like Remand and Mana Leak. Helps you against many of the unfair decks in the format. Your clock isn't fast enough against something like Ad Nauseam or Storm.
