Spicing up an old deck

Modern Deck Help forum

Hey all,

So I was looking around mtggoldfish for a few decks similar to my old mono-blue polymorph deck, and I found like 4 lists, surprisingly enough. the odd part is that they were all recent decks and they were all playing the Training Grounds + Umbral Mantle + a manland combo as an alternate win condition. Do you guys think it could be good in modern? What suggestions do you have?

Here's the list I'm toying with:

I can't seem to access the deck via the link you posted. Are you sure it's the correct link?

Pieguy396, I fixed the link and also have the deck now as a transformational sideboard as to switch from one combo to another. same questions still stand: comments/concerns? suggestions?

So, you're switching from the Emrakul + Polymorph combo to the Training Grounds + Umbral Mantle combo, right? Honestly, it looks pretty solid to me, my only suggestion would be to maybe splash White so you can run the Gifts Ungiven + Unburial Rites + Iona/Elesh Norn combo as well post board, as you already have part of it. That's all I have lol, sweet deck!

Pieguy396, thats about it. if I were to splash white, where would I put in the gifts/rites combo in?
