Seeking all Jund experts!!!!

I am fairly new to Jund, I have some previous experience with the deck when BBE first got unbanned.

I am asking for everyone's opinions (please articulate yourselves) on the following topics:

  1. Dark Confidant vs. Tireless Tracker, which is better on average? is Bob enough anymore?

  2. 3 or 4 Bloodbraid Elf?

  3. 24 or 25 lands??

  4. Huntmaster and Olivia not good enough anymore?

My current list is pretty stock because i felt it was a solid place to start.

However I REALLy want to play Grim Flayer (one of my favorite cards of all time). What cards do i cut to add in grim flayer, or is he just not good enough anymore??

I appreciate all the help and advice! If any of you need advice on modern 4-color scapeshift or BG elves I will happily assist you (I have hundreds of games with both decks, also won a pptq with elves)!

Dark Confidant over Retired Tracker all day. Bob is a turn 2 play that left unchecked will win you the game and requires no additional resources. Tireless Tracker is a turn 5 play that requires you to have open mana and lands in hand to capitalize on. Both are removal magnets but something to think about since you want to play Grim Flayer is that Bob & Flayer are quite the combo to have online.

I play Rock not Jund so I could be wrong but my understanding of Grim Flayer (which is still a good card) is that it isn't ran anymore simply because of space.

Thanks for the comment APPLE01DOJ! Yeah I've always fallen on the side of Dark Confidant over Tireless Tracker but I've heard compelling arguments for the opposite side. And that analysis of Grim Flayer makes sense, I've been trying to compose a list that played flayer but those list just seem suboptimal. Perhaps there will be a meta shift in which flayer comes back! Until then i will continue to play it cube

Tireless Tracker is a good card. But if you're choosing either/or... Dark Confidant is the clear winner.

And I say 24 lands over 25.

IMO - keep in mind, I play Esper Control and Martyr Proc. But when I see Bob, I am willing to waste a Detention Sphere or other 3 mana removal on him.

When I see Tracker, I go "ennh I'll path it when I feel like it"

Thanks for the comment BrandonJamesCAC. Any rationale behind choosing 24 lands over 25?
