Need help with 2hg -1/-1 counter deck

Hello I'm pretty new to the site and was hoping someone can help me with a -1/-1 counter deck I'm working on for 2hg.

Right now it looks like this but I'm very open to making changes (that's why i'm posting)

The main thing I'm trying to do is keep the board under control, drain life with spiders, and create 1/1 tokens and finish by going wide if need be. Keep in mind I will have a partner as well so I don't have to do everything alone. Played it a few times and it is very hit or miss. Either it comes out the exact way it's supposed to be and wins games or it's all over the place and does nothing. Looking to make it a little more consistent and have something to do every turn if possible, not just wait for wombo combos. Sorry about the formatting, I tried to fix it but couldn't figure it out..

So out of curiosity what deck will your partner be running? knowing this will help me see how the matchups might be lacking

it's very casual. This is kitchen table magic so we have various decks. He would be playing more of a beatdown type deck no control.

@v3n3m: It's worth noting that in Constructed 2HG you and your partner can only have 4 copies of each non-basic land between your 2 decks. So if you're using 3 Birds of Paradise, your partner can only have 1 Birds of Paradise in their deck.

This is extra important if one of you is running 3 colors. You don't want to use up all of your team's dual/fetch lands and leave your teammate trying to play a 3 color deck with only basic lands.

Also, to force a line break, type:

< / b r >

....after each line you want broken up (without the spaces). You can also link your deck into the comments by grabbing the link from the left side when viewing your deck. It's the last button on the bottom below "Import/Export" under "Download/Embed/Embed Code."
