Hey I have been trying my best as a pretty new magic player to make my first homebrew and its going alright but id really love to see what you could do to improve the deck http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/05-08-16-XAa-angels/. Its mono white angels for modern and i have a 250 dollar budget. Id like the deck to be mid to high tier 3 if possible. Im really eager to see what you can do to help the deck. Have a good day.

Hi!

If you look at the comment tutorial (linked below the box where you type comments) it can help you out with deck linking. To make a nice link you take the bit after "mtg-decks/", so in this case its "05-08-16-XAa-angels" and put it in between two square brackets either side like this:

[ [ 05-08-16-XAa-angels ] ], just without the spaces either side of the deck name and between the square brackets. If you do that without the spaces it creates a deck link.

Ill have a look at your deck now.

hey there i love angel decks myself, i play a red white one and if you take out my blood moons it comes in around $250 i guess. A couple points to help you

you need to survive till turn 5 to even have a shot, so consider how you will answer infect, Death's Shadow, Affinity, even merfolk can kill you early. I would recomend the following before you even start choosing angels4 Path to Exile ($30 roughly)4 Blessed Alliance ($1-2)4 Wrath of God (not sure what they go for now days, maybe $15 total)

I would mainboard 4 Leylines as well. or at least 2, you will likely never ever beat burn, or jund without it.

The other issue with playing an angel deck is they cost a lot, so you need to hit your land drops or you are dead, 24-25 lands is a must, of those i would include 2 Cavern of Souls, kind of expensive at $50 a pop but necessary to have a fighting shot against control decks.

Try and keep your angels to the 4-5 mana cost variety i wouldn't have more than 2-3 that cost more. I play 12-13 angels in my deck i would like to play 15-16 though but i need spots for the blood moons and leylines. And further on that point, it is tough to wait till turn 4 or 5 and drop an angel only to have it killed immediately. So i would consider finding a way to protect them, Always watching can give them vigilance and +1/+1 which means they can get out of reach of a dismember or make your opponent have to use 2-3 bolts depending on the angel. I myself like Faith's Shield as it has a special ability which can save you in a bind. If you can find some spots for some mana help or card draw that would help, Mind Stone, or Hedron Archive maybe. Sometimes i use Angelsong, as it can draw me a card or fog a turn of damage against me.

As far as the angels themselves you got lots of choices but I would include Baneslayer Angel for sure, the first strike and life link combo is great. Linvala Keeper of Silence for sure as well.Archangel of Tithes can help you against some aggro decks as well. Good luck and have fun.

another nice protection option is Cloudshift, it can save your angel as well as re-trigger any battlefield effects they may have, plus its an angel themed card to boot

Your link is broken, it seems.

Have you thought about splashing another color? Specifically, red would be really good because you could play 4 Lightning Bolt, 4 Lightning Helix, 4 Pyroclasm, and 2+ Anger of the Gods.

Basically, you would kill any and all threats your opponents play. Then on turn 4 forward, you just start slamming angels.

Probably the better ones to play would be those with 4+ toughness and abilities that drastically alter the board. Something like:
