Is Telepathy any good?

Now that Gitaxian Probe is banned from modern, how relevant is Telepathy? You lose the phrexian mana cost and draw, but get an effect which is more cool.

Almost certainly not at all relevant; the strength of Gitaxian Probe was its absurd efficiency, since it didn't cost you mana or card resources, whereas Telepathy costs you both. Plus, I really couldn't imagine anyone playing Telepathy while Peek is still in the format.

I consider Telepathy a staple in any of my Blue EDH decks. The information advantage you get with 3 or more opponents is amazing. Plus it helps with politicking when everyone sees someone draw their wincon.
For modern? I don't know, the value of the information is a lot lower given the 1v1 structure (if you're playing multiplayer modern, I would try it for sure). The decks are also much more likely to follow archetypal patterns, so the number of surprise cards should be relatively low.
