I want to make a deck where you play a bunch of creatures with infect, then you buff them all, then you play a card like Brawl to get them to give your opponents poison counters. i'm looking for card ideas, or advice on the strategy.

Brawl is banned in modern. The closest thing to that is Burning Anger

usually infect has 1-2 cmc infect creature Glistener Elf which you would buff Groundswell and try to win in turn 2.. :)

Something like Brawl is inefficient when you can just attack with unblockable Blighted Agent, or flying Inkmoth Nexus and Plague Stinger. Infect is actually a viable Modern archetype that can be built on a budget or more competively. Here's my personal list-

Why not use Brawn? It's G, could be dropped into infect easily, and works from the GY giving your creatures trample... you'd be giving poison counters whether they block you or not.

NOTE: Brawl "might" be too slow for your meta. YMMV

With Brawn your excess damage is poison counters in an infect deck, that's what I was saying.

If you're looking for help for an building an infect deck try the infect subreddit. If you want a other cards with a brawl like effect, try Chandra's Ignition.
