Hey all,

I feel that I have developed my mono-blue version of my polymorph deck plenty, and want to move onto a new challenge. I want to make it 2 colors, preferably Black/Blue. one problem: I have 0 experience with 2 color mana bases. that combined with new options for my SB, and main deck cards. any help would be AWESOME!

the deck as it is now (copied so I can edit it while keeping my main version):

Two colour mana bases in modern can be done a lot of different ways.
This deck looks fairly control based so I recommend playing 4x river of tears and 4x temple of deceit. This lets you avoid loosing life to your land. Many players like to play shock lands and fetch lands but in two colours this isn't really necessary.

Shock lands and fetch lands are going to be your best bet for a 2 color mana base. For your preferred colors I would suggest Drowned Catacomb or Sunken Hollow

Frimbleglim, is Temple of Deceit really worth it? lands that come in tapped really kinda suck in modern.

Depends on the deck. Temples are actually pretty good in modern but as you are running a lot of 1 drops maybe not in this deck.
