How are Dimir Ninjas?

Recently fell in love with Ninjas in EDH due to Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow and the whole surprise-attack strategy is really fun to me.
How are Dimir Ninjas in Modern? Thinking about trying them out on MTGO. I'm not looking for something super competitive but something that can win a decent chunk of games at a reasonable price. Are Ninjas worth pursuing?
Here is my list so far although it is still a very rough draft

No you're not shooting me down that's exactly why I wanted to ask on here. They seem fun to play but hard to win / susceptible to disruption.
I do like the Dimir Rogues deck. But I was hoping for something a bit more tricky that throws opponents off guard.

Ninja of the Deep Hours is great in Pauper. Modern... not so much. The format goes too fast and has too much removal for them to thrive.
