Hi!I juste created a new deck and I would like to know what you guys think about, what you would suggest I change etc.. All of the info is in the deck description.

Here's the deck: army(r) for colossus

The deck looks like a super fun casual deck, but it's too slow for modern. Unfortunately you either need to interact enough to prevent a T3 or T4 win, or win by that turn yourself. So I would add some interaction in the form of Abrupt Decay and Path to Exile at the very least, or Lightning Bolt depending on how easy red is to get. Those two/three have a low enough cmc to enable you to gum up your opponents plan. The only other thing would be to spend a little money on your mana base for shocks or fast lands, if that's something within your budget. That should give you a solid start. Again, sweet deck if just playing with friends!

I dont understand the difference between shocklands and the lands I already have.. both give me 2 choices of mana.. is it because I can pay 2 life to use them immediatly?

Modern is a fairly fast format. Playing a enter the battlefield tapped land is a much slower play than playing the land untapped and just paying the 2 life, which at the pace most modern decks go, is negligible for most decks. As for the deck itself, like the guy said above, it seems a little clunky for modern, most decks will have you under their thumb if you aren't trying to win or set up to win by at least turn 4-5. My suggestion is to maybe tune it a little bit, maybe focus on one overall tactic first. There is a modern deck idea out there that uses Shape Anew to find Blightsteel Colossus and protect it with blue counter magic. There is probably a good budget deck doing that somewhere on this site. Maybe focus on playing in a few colors, like blue and red or blue and white, and try to just get the colossus out as soon as possible. I'm actually thinking a blue\red shell would be great if you're looking for competitive LGS play, as this gives you some control in blue an some spot removal in red to clear the way for your colossus to swing in freely.

I played my deck 3-4 times and found that indeed, it is sometimes hard to get things started, but once i've got the mana, everything flows. I would add more Fireball and counter spell. Diabolic Tutor has been very usefull in getting the exact card I need for my combo to work. I'll probably remove Soul Parry, since it's the only white card and that i can destroy creatures instead of preventing damage.. Voltaic Key can be usefull in getting more myr token out of Myr Turbine, so i'll keep that. If I want to use Shape Anew I'll need to get rid of almost all artifacts in my deck in order for it to be usefull.. i'll probably try anyways XD. Finally, I definitly need more than 1 Blightsteel Colossus and more Kuldotha Forgemaster

What going white does for you is give this little card called Thraben Inspector at 1 to bring along a free artifact for your Shape Anew. That lets you play a single blightsteel to avoid having one in hand or hitting another random one off shape. Ideally you'll want to keep turns 2-5 open to counter magic/removal. Serum Visions will be important to finding your inspectors or shapes. Shoot, even Wrath of God or Supreme Verdict is a solid inclusion to make sure the board is clear the turn before you go off. Overall if you want to live to combo off, you'll need more tempo plays and less Kuldotha Forgemaster's.

Now, are you actually wanting this list for modern? I feel like we're treating this like you want this to be highly competitive, and I don't want you to completely change this deck to something we suggest. I love home-brewing decks, and this has potential. If the deck is just looking for consistency, then ignore most my previous comment. First, try to focus on a few win conditions and streamline your mana base. With all the mana myr, color fixing isn't really an issue. I recommend either try the Tron lands, (Urza's Mine, Urza's Power Plant, and Urza's Tower), or other colorless options, like maybe Westvale Abbey  Flip if you go the token route with Myr Turbine. The Tron lands are pretty cheap to get a hold of, plus 3 lands that make 7 mana is what this deck wants to do, and if you can't find all 3, then you have the infinite mana from your myr combo. Also, all of these two of's in the deck significantly hurt the consistency. If you are looking to cheat out Blightsteel Colossus with Kuldotha Forgemaster, then maybe go to 3 of each mana myr, 4 Fabricate, 3 Kuldotha Forgemaster, and increase your land count to about 20-22 total. I'd say go to 9 basics, mostly Island, and play the Tron cycle. You will see that with the ramp from the Tron lands, your deck will play much faster. What you have already is actually really close to the Mono-Blue Tron deck, but you have the cool synergy of trying to either make infinite mana with Myr Galvanizer or combo-ing into Blightsteel Colossus. Like the above guy said, Serum Visions would help tremendously, and I really like Ancient Stirrings for anything that plays a lot of colorless cards. My list if I was going to play it would probably be this:

2x Blightsteel Colossus

3x Kuldotha Forgemaster

4x Silver Myr

4x Copper Myr

3x Palladium Myr

4x Myr Galvanizer

4x Fabricate

4x Serum Visions

4x Ancient Stirrings

3x Expedition Map

4x Sylvan Scrying

4x Island

3x Forest

4x Urza's Mine

4x Urza's Power Plant

4x Urza's Tower

Now, take this list with a grain of salt, you do not have to match this. Play around with it and see what parts you like, and maybe incorporate them into your list. Good luck and happy play-testing!
