I have a lot of the cards for this already so I want to mix up my U/W Control build by splashing black. I think this version could have a lot of benefit due to the early disruption black allows with discard and all the token spells. Let me know what you all think! Esper Control

Damnation is not a spell you should run. If you really want to run something black, play Bontu's Last Reckoning, it eats elves players best starts, and in such cases Damnation is a dud.

However currently you should run Settle the Wreckage, as its GREAT against both hollow one, and boggles. And it doesn't eat all of your tokens.

P.s. If you splash for cards that make your deck faster at the price of loosing late game winning power (aka. inevitability) you are hardly creatign a control deck. Especially if you already started with a deck that should be called "gideon tribal midrange". I meant that if you are focusing on early turns with targeted discar that is 6x do nothing cards right there, true "draw-go" lists would beat decks built this way easily. By powerful late game cards i meant cards like Secure the Wastes or White Sun's Zenith - producing your win condition at the opponent's end step is significan't, you win at instant speed, hold up all the mana you may need on their turn, and can even wait till they tap out.)
