It currently have 19 lands, and running the playtest feature here in tappedout; I feel that I'm drawing into land too much. I'm just afraid to drop the land count too much more. I thought about using something to allow me to search lands, but IDK since its just a mono-colored deck. Deck can be found here: Insanity Rising
Ill take that into consideration, clayperce. Thanks for the input and tips on how to actually link my deck lol

rufus654,
Hey, you bet!
Another way to make the deck run more smoothly without adding more Lands is just to lower the curve a little. Some of the 8-Rack classics that might be applicable: Funeral Charm, Raven's Crime, Smallpox (also nice if you find yourself with extra Lands), and Wrench Mind.
Scepter of Fugue could also give you something to do with extra mana.

I like those clayperce. I know I've passed on Raven's Crime in the pass. Not a fan of saccing lands, but if I don't I lose out on use; but the others are worth a second look.

The thing is that if you feel you are flooding and drawing too many lands then Raven's Crime lets you turn those lands you drew into a discard spell. Of note also, you retrace by discarding a land card (hand to graveyard) not by sacrificing land (play to graveyard).

I see what you're saying Gidgetimer. Im all hopped up on coffee lol not thinking straight right now.

When running this play tester ive found that the initial shuffle isn't very good.... shuffle it a few times and then draw 7. That should give you a much better idea

I've noticed that lately too, MrJohny. When I first made this post, with the same amount of lands, they were generally good. Since then I've changed a few things, specific to the lands was the addition if the Ifnir Deadlands and Leechridden Swamp. I've since taken out the Leechridden Swamps and am now wrestling with the idea of a play set of Ifnir deadlands.

Raven's Crime will help with the flooding if you do flood.

What you really need is some kind of filtering, visions, opt, ect. But i don't really know of any budget options in black.... but statistically you should be fine with 19 (i mean there's an argument to be made for going up to 21) lands but sometimes your just going to flood out.
The other option is running 8-10 fetches (not evolving wilds, they are much to slow)

I bumped it to 21, a playset of Ifnir Deadlands and threw Raven's Crime in my side board MrJohny, UpperDeckerTaco. Ive also been looking at some tutoring as a viable option to offset the dead draws and help get my Liliana's Caress and Raiders' Wake out a little early. Maybe Diabolic Tutor or Infernal Tutor

Diabolic Tutor is not worth it, it is too slow. You want fast mana? Put in Simian Spirit Guide. Lol. Seriously though, even though it does not produce Black mana, it still ramps you super hard.

It's not fast mana I'm worried about. I'm meant the tutors to ensure I get my Liliana's Caress and Raiders' Wake out quick

rufus654,
With an average CMC (as I type this) of 2.73, I'd actually recommend 24 Lands. Maybe even 25 (because more Lands is better for Mind Sludge, plus you have some REALLY high-CMC sideboard cards). This is all based on the table at the bottom of this article, by Hall-of-Famer Frank Karsten.
I mean, if 19 already feels like too many, maybe just leave it as is? But you might also try swapping out some spells for Lands and playtesting that way ... it may just be terrible for your playstyle, but I think you'll find you can play on curve more often, and the deck will run much more smoothly.
Good luck (and good skill)!
P.S. For future ref, you can add deck links like this:
