Help converting this deck from Legacy to Modern

Modern Deck Help forum

I have this cleric deck Touch Me. I'm a Cleric. It won't hurt.

I am trying to remove the last legacy components and make it modern legal. can anyone suggest replacements for:

Whipgrass Entangler & Doubtless One

I would also like to replace, but would be happy to just remove:

Sigil of the New Dawn & Aegis of Honor

Any overall comments on the deck would be useful as well.

War Oracle for doubtless one and Banisher Priest for whipgrass? Order of Whiteclay for replacement for sigil. Hallow is a replacement for aegis, though it is 1 time only.

is there a reason you want to make the deck modern? If it is to attend a tournament and the plan is to do more than help the prize pool you would need to really overhaul (unless it's more a tournament in a casual playgroup).

Its just for a casual local tournament.

I like War Oracle. Not quite the huge guns of doubtless one but I can use Mikaeus to bump him up.If I'm going to take Order of Whiteclay to recover cards then I will take Loxodon Mystic instead of Banisher Priest. It allows me to change my lockdown target if another priority comes along and I can get the Whiteclay tapped without putting it forward for attack.

I think I will forgo the bounce back of Aegis and Hallow and just rely on the Circles to see me through.

Thanks for the advice so far.

Sigardian Priest/Avacynian Priest is a cheaper version of the loxodon.

Good shout.

I might take a mix of the Avacynian Priest and the Mystic. That way I can cover any human creatures that I want to lock as well.
