Fastest way to play Star of Extinction?

I was tearing through my Prismatic Deck, a format where you play with all 5 colors and must have a min of 250 cards in your deck, and I ran across Stuffy Doll
I want to build a modern deck from him, but I got to ask for advice on a spark of inspiration I just had, an idea that I don't want to google because I really REALLY want to be the first person to have thought of doing this, but, What is the fastest way to play star of extinction, and what are some other cards that can go into a deck like that? Should it be an urzatron? No urza lands at all? Do I need lotus petal or Chromatic lantern or gilded lotus? What about other burn spells? Should I keep enchantment and artifact destruction in it to keep oblivion rings or pesky artifacts that keep me from play spells at bay?
Please start pitching me ideas. I think I might be able to borrow some ideas from Storm decks, but should this be red and green or just red or splash blue in with just straight artifacts for whatever?
Oh my goodness those are some great ideas! Thanks! Starting to get a good feel where this could go, Now that I think I have the colors I need, just need to think of how the excellerate and the fillings are going to be.

I've also been playing around with something similar, and have run into problems with ramp. I'm trying to keep my build RW if possible, but it's a low pririty atm. Best of luck!

I'd say the fastest way to cast it is by using the Utopia Sprawl and Arbor Elf combo, which can get it out on T3 or 4, if I'm lucky
T1: Forest, Arbor Elf
T2: Forest, Utopia Sprawl(naming Red), Second Utopia Sprawl (on the same land, choosing any colour)
T3: Forest, Stuffy Doll
You could also vary this plan by adding some more Stuffy Doll-like things, but it's your choice.

The basic idea of this deck is "Opposite and equal reactions". So what damages X, also deals equal Damage to X. I got a decklist for it so far, but after I make a couple more tweaks, maybe I will post the deck and start working on it from there.

Red/white is the way to go with this. Not only do you get Boros Reckoner and Spitemare and Truefire Captain as backups, but also cards like Spirit Loop or Spirit Link in combination with Pariah or Pariah's Shield will get you infinite life. Additionally, just slapping a pariah on doll will make you immune to damage, so that is something.
