How time fleets without a single trace of remembrance. It has been some time since I asked the Tappedout community for advice. Formalities aside, I thought I stop by to ask you folk about an Esper Tezzeret build that is fun and somewhat competitive. I have no budget whatsoever, so card suggestions are not restricted. Furthermore, I know there are Dimir and Grixis versions, but there is no greater reward than a spicy home brew.
I do appreciate the honest evaluation on the idea. I am aware of the current meta, but wanted to be spicy to brew up this Esper Tezzeret just to show off. Perhaps I can retain a casual modern build until artefact hate cracks down a few notches. Still, I want to thank you guys for giving me card suggestions to really think about whilst summoning a seventy-five deck concoction.

I have been playing this UB Artifact build that could slot in Tezzeret pretty easily and could go esper with a tweak to the mana base. I enjoy the archetype overall but as others have mentioned it's fun but not necessarily well positioned. In my experience, artifact hate such as Stony Silence is not very common so there's that. Kolaghan's Command is still an thing and still a beating and any deck that runs it is likely a bad/unfavorable matchup.
Here is my list. It is kind of a mid-range artifact toolbox deck. I have "Homeless Tezzeret" (as described above) in the sideboard for extra removal and the ultimate (which is great and fairly easy to get) but you could easily add in Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas to the main or sideboard. The new M19 Tezzeret could be a good anti-control walker as well. I opted for Karn, Scion of Urza because of the card advantage and making 6/6-/7/7s is pretty good and the loyalty is really high making him hard to kill without multiple burn spells or an all out attack. I hope the list gives you some inspiration. Cheers!

Sad though it may be, Tezzeret is not well positioned at the moment. With the Krark Clan Ironworks combo deck gaining popularity, there is a lot of artifact removal in the format.
Luckily, 5/5 Darksteel Citadels are still very good. In fact, better than ever because Path to Exile is not as common, in favor of Fatal Push.
Sword of the Meek and Thopter Foundry are soft to artifact destruction. They're great when not disrupted, but they'll face a lot of disruption. I don't know how they'll fare in this meta.
