Dumbest/Most Gimmicky Deck for FNM

Modern Deck Help forum

I'm looking to spice up the local FNM scene with some great shenanigans. I already took home FNM a few weeks ago with a super funny Zombie Hunt deck, and so I thought I could use a change of pace. Anybody got some really funny decks that can take rounds off of real decks? Thanks :)

Esper Shadows - Plunge into Death! - took it to FNM last week - went 3 and 1 :)

You could try something like this:

I've played it online a bit and it's quite fun because no one expects multiple pacts in turns when you wouldn't be able to pay even one of them

I also haven't seen anyone using Harmless Offering yet, so I'd be excited to see a working deck.

The only way to spice up FNM is through jank. And it only gets better when you can build the deck for $20-ish.

BARREN GLORY ($20 Budget)

Sapient Séance

Devotion to Insanity ($14 Budget)

What Doesn't Kill You... ($20 Budget)

I am planning on bringing Jeskai Turbo Fog next week, ft. Tibalt, the Fiend-Blooded. Tibalt is about as spicy as it gets. He actually strangely works okay in fog though. Discard your win condition (fog effects)? Its fine, you have 20 more of them in the deck and likely 2-3 more in hand. His -4 will almost always be 7 damage; and his ult is actually super threatening in turbo fog since they are either playing all their creatures in hope you don't have a fog one turn so they can alpha strike you down (in which case you just win when Tibalt hits 6 counters), or they do not play anything and the board is so nonthreatening that you can just durdle and do your thing until you inevitably win.

MTGgoldfish had a deck with Harmless Offering - but it needs some work as it was created to be the the pinnacle of jank, as one can expect from "against the odds"

Aorosco14 do you have a preferred color or strategy in mind? budget?

cuz you can go for cards that just say you win by meeting certain conditions from turbo fog with Azor's Elocutors.... to self mill Laboratory Maniac... i got the biggest with Mayael's Aria and others?

aiming to combo out with something ridiculous like Altar of the Brood/Reckless Fireweaver + Liquimetal Coating + Saheeli Rai?

Can it be also a legacy deck? :)

Make a bogbrew deck. As soon as you slap down that turn 1 Festering Newt your opponent should concede.
