Vampires!

Hey guys,

I'm still kinda new to the game, played for about 6 months online a year ago and getting back into it now. Can't be annoyed to start from scratch with standard and replace the decks every few months so i'm gonna start playing modern. Any help or suggestions for how i should approach a vampire tribal deck would be greatly appreciated!

Several questions:

1/ What level of play do you intend to use deck in?
2/ Do you want to splash?
3/ Does it have to have a specific theme ie madness from innistrad 2?
4/ Do you have a max budget?

just mtgo constructed play. maybe do a constructed tournament or something i feel confident enough to put money in it. i dont wanna spend more than 20 bucks but that should be plenty for mtgo.

and i dunno about specific themes/mechanics really. not too familiar with anything post origins. i linked my deck at the top but i feel like it's pacing needs some work. having a hard time balancing out removal with buff with creature.

posted a link to it on the top of my post tho, if u didn't see. i've also updated it cuz i bought hero's downfall and thoughtseize because i was sick of conditional removal and conditional discard.

Well, there are two main vampire decks I would say work at that level.

Monoblack devotion with lighter vampire tribal theme. Or Black/Red vampires with madness. Depending on how much Phyrexian Obliterator is in MTGO, everything else for devotion deck should be pretty cheap.
