Deck: Abzan Midrange
Explanation:
Hey, I am trying to build an abzan midrange deck for modern! I really like to options the colors give and I want to build a more interactive deck than budget combo or some aggro deck. Also, I want to start building a deck that I can upgrade in the future. If I understand it, midrange is supposed to have early disruption along with strong value and threats that can stand by themselves. Unfortunately, that makes the cards expensive. Additionally, the mana base for 3 colors is pricey if you want to have untapped land options. I didn't include a sideboard cause I feel that is more dependent on where I am playing my deck and I haven't made one yet. I can go into more detail for some of the card picks if asked. Once again, this is basically a first build and I am testing online before I buy anything, so have at it.
Questions:
General opinions on deck?
What are some better card options (around 5$ per card please)?
Is 3 color mana base on a budget too optimistic; should I instead try 2?
