Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas is pretty cool.

sirbar, do you think that something like Cranial Plating on a Spellskite would work? that's something i've been looking at.

That doesn't work with Ensnaring Bridge.

Ghirapur AEther Grid and Tezzeret are the best two alternate win conditions.

That would work, but it is easily countered by them just killing the Spellskite upon targeting with the Cranial Plating. Tezzeret, Agent of Bolas is the win con most people are gravitating to since most lists are playing blue for Glint-Nest Crane, and planeswalker removal is not very common in the modern scene. You could do Sword of the Meek + Thopter Foundry , but that can be tricky to do with your Ensnaring Bridge.

GlistenerAgent, I would attach plating after attackers to get around bridge, but regardless, thanks for the suggestions. I am just looking to get around Leyline of Sanctity

GlistenerAgent - That does work as long as you use the second mode of equip, its the same as Noble Hierarch attacking in and getting an exalted trigger

thunderlicous, how do most other lists get around Leyline of Sanctity?

If Leyline of Sanctity is your issue, I would just bring in enchantment removal from the side and keep your main deck mostly the same. Ray of Revelation or Nature's Claim does a good job for lantern control lists, with most going the latter. I prefer the ray though, since you can mill it/discard it for later use. Either that, or plan for the slow mill with Ghoulcaller's Bell and ask for library count when it gets close, just to check.

thunderlicous, why are all the other lists springing for Glint-Nest Crane? i tested it, and found it to be underwhelming.

Glint-Nest Crane is just another Ancient Stirrings for the deck, which helps for consistency and also shores up early game against aggro lists when/if you are still searching for a bridge. Most games it will come out for removal and other tools you may need, but its a real help for under experienced players game 1 that want to try to learn the deck. Other than that, it comes down to player preference and consistency of your list whether you want to play them or not. I personally don't play them, but I can see where they can be useful.

Why do you want another WinCon? The mill rocks are a perfectly fine one without taking up extra slots.

Mortem - His problem is more directed towards a wincon that deals with/gets around Leyline of Sanctity, and the mill rocks that get through that mill you as well, which could actually screw the lantern player over, so he wanted another option to win in case he couldn't find a way to remove it.

Pyxis of Pandemonium doesn't care about leyline either.

If you need an additional wincon in Lantern you are playing wrong.

Thopter/sword is fine because you draw for turn, swing with the team and then play the card.

Grid is fine and is a way to beat Stony Silence after board.

Glint nest crane is another wincondition if you think the milling takes to long.

If you're worried about milling out. My friend runs Academy Ruins to assist i refiling the deck to avoid milling out.

Just on a side note: Spellskite + Plating works, if you attack first and then attach it to the skite for BB.
