Modern Deck Help forum

This is the Modern-specific advertise-your-deck thread!
Here are the rules:
- You may link one of your decks in each of your posts. Do not list more than one deck per post.
- When you post, you must offer feedback on the deck posted immediately before yours (leave the feedback on that deck's page). This feedback needs to be genuine; "Cool deck" replies don't count. Try to be as helpful as possible.
- You may not post another deck in this thread again until a week after your previous deck post (by the day, not the exact minute). This is to make sure that other participants have a fair chance of getting some attention.
- Do not post unrelated comments in this thread. Leave the deck discussion on the deck pages. Additionally, don't comment just to subscribe to this thread. Use the subscribe button at the bottom of the page.
- This thread is stickied and does not expire.
When you share one of your decks, you should offer some information about what you want it to do, what specifically you think you need help with, etc. The more information you give people about your deck, the better the help you're likely to receive.
You're also encouraged to use the deck-large format to make your decks more visible:
[[deck-large:Dominus-Dreamcrusher Edition]]
While you're here, check out these recommendations for other ways to get views on your deck.
If you're feeling up to it, you can also try to write a primer for your deck.
Miracles-and-Charms-of-Alara,
For future ref, here's how to link your deck. Or just use the link button at the top of every Comment window. Or the Formatting tips link at the bottom. :-)

Playtested this with some of my mates. During one battle, due to casting two Karametra's Acolytes, and the Mana Reflection, managed to get my Primordial Hydra to 72/72 with trample (kept tapping me, though)
and during my last battle, I managed to win against Legacy Control deck with Black Vise, Propaganda, and Stasis on the battlefield.

So I wanted to try crafting a deck that utilizes Valakut, the Molten Pinnacle and Splendid Reclamation to combo kill the opponent. Traditionally this type of deck has been oriented more towards Scapeshift to combo kill, and decks that tried to use Splendid Reclamation typically looked a lot like scapeshift decks, in that they were trying to Bring to Light/Splendid Reclamation with 4/5c decks. I believe this combo can be accomplished more easily by using discard/sacrifice land effects with mana dorks (to ensure 4 mana). Currently in the process of being developed, and would love feeback!

Nighthowler vs Grafted Wargear vs Fallen Ideal
The Value of Human Life ~$50
Modern*
SCORE: 3 | 4 COMMENTS | 1262 VIEWS | IN 3 FOLDERS
Nighthowler: great synergy with Golgari Thug, makes deck more susceptible to graveyard hate, but more resilient to removal, triggers heroic, threat in itself, can ramp quickly with no card loss, but doesn't provide a sac outlet.
Grafted Wargear: buffs earlier and provides free sorcery speed sac outlet, lack of artifact recursion makes it susceptible to removal/accidental dredge and runs into artifact hate like Stony Silence and Pithing Needle, 1 time cost for free buffs the rest of the game.
Fallen Ideal: built in recursion, free instant speed sac outlet, passive evasion, dodges Pithing Needle, triggers heroic, but doesn't give permabuff and only does at expense of other creatures.

This is obviously going for a pretty aggressive experience, with protection providing a lot of punch when people aren't expecting it.
So far, it has done reasonably well for a budget/theme deck, but help is always appreciated. The sideboard, in particular, is in a steady flux to test out different solutions.

I think the mainboard is pretty solid, It's mostly just the SB that needs help. Leyline and Pact are the only cards i refuse to remove, and Echoing Truth is extremely strong, but could see myself cutting one or two depending on what I'm trying to beat.
