This is the Modern-specific advertise-your-deck thread!

Modern format rules

Here are the rules:

  1. You may link one of your decks in each of your posts. Do not list more than one deck per post.
  2. When you post, you must offer feedback on the deck posted immediately before yours (leave the feedback on that deck's page). This feedback needs to be genuine; "Cool deck" replies don't count. Try to be as helpful as possible.
  3. You may not post another deck in this thread again until a week after your previous deck post (by the day, not the exact minute). This is to make sure that other participants have a fair chance of getting some attention.
  4. Do not post unrelated comments in this thread. Leave the deck discussion on the deck pages. Additionally, don't comment just to subscribe to this thread. Use the subscribe button at the bottom of the page.
  5. This thread is stickied and does not expire.

When you share one of your decks, you should offer some information about what you want it to do, what specifically you think you need help with, etc. The more information you give people about your deck, the better the help you're likely to receive.

You're also encouraged to use the deck-large format to make your decks more visible:

[[deck-large:Dominus-Dreamcrusher Edition]]

While you're here, check out these recommendations for other ways to get views on your deck.

If you're feeling up to it, you can also try to write a primer for your deck.

The core of this deck is in the synergy between Training Grounds, Pack Rat and Asylum Visitor. How this works is that Training Grounds + Pack Rat let's you dump your hand super fast to make huge swarm of huge rats, discarding Asylum Visitor into play with madness which in turn refills your hand.

The rest of the deck is a supportive control package and more synergy with training grounds and discarding/filling your grave.

A modern-legal, 240 card deck, designed to win through (the admittedly terrible) Battle of Wits. There are also infinite persist-combos should the primary win condition prove unfeasible. Currently looking to improve consistency and its ability to survive long enough to pull out the victory.

I love revisiting creative decks played back in standard. This my take on Dark Jeskai, the deck that pretty much dominated BFZ-OGW standard, now hoping into Modern. This is going to be my choice to cast dread in my local card store FNM. I do want some input on what you guys think about this deck, offering any suggestions regarding main or side. January 14, 2018 8:38 a.m.

Caerwyn says... #35

Just to make a slight note, I respond to Brandamn's deck, as he is the last user to follow the rules. Miguel.U.B.affinity and hjaycee both failed to post on the deck before theirs, and it seems a bit unfair that someone who followed the rules did not get feedback. I will try to get to both of your Miguel.U.B.affinity's and hjaycee's decks eventually, but, for the aforestated reasons, they were not my priority. Miguel.U.B.affinity, you also posted two times within the same week, which goes against deck rules.

Apologies for being "that guy." I have just noted there have been some issues with people not following the rules.

Moving on, I am looking to improve my Battle of Wits deck, with an eye toward consistency. Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty mediocre at this game, but I like playing with friends and we need a new deck to shake things up. This is a UB Control deck I've been working on that functions pretty basically; draw and deny until you get AEtherling or Pearl Lake Ancient on the board and win. I'd love some feedback on the deck anywhere I can find it.

http://tappedout.net/mtg-decks/ub-control-beginner-please-comment-any-tips/

Please keep in mind, this is a casual deck for friends; I'm really not looking for the $100+ decks I'm used to seeing around here. I've found there's almost always a cheaper alternative to the $10+ cards I get recommended, so please keep that in mind when viewing my deck. The price I have it at now (20-40 USD) is around where I want to keep it.

Thank you for reading, and I welcome any suggestions you might have.

This is my enduring ideal deck, and I'm trying a new, much more complicated, but I think more consistent wincon. Please give this a look, I'm sure it could use some tweaking. The deck it's based off of, my other ideal deck, is referenced on the page too. Trying to figure out how to squeeze 1 Luminarch Ascension and 1 Archetype of Imagination in again, after taking it out of the old version. ANY advice is GREATLY appreciated, thanks guys!

Note: Purpose of new wincon was to both ultra-lock opponents that run things like Abrupt Decay or win matches against people that gain infinite life. Just trying to increase the number of different decks this can beat. Thanks again guys!

So I've now gone back and revamped this deck for modern. I really like the R/G ramping in standard so I tried to stay true to that while being viable in modern. The deck is straight forward. Ramp hard and drop hard. I normally have 4 mana on turn 2 consistently. The sideboard has your normal "hate". You have Blood Moon, Molten Rain, Destructive Revelry and Mwonvuli Acid-Moss to deal with Affinty and Tron. Grafdigger's Cage, Relic of Progenitus and Spellskite is or normal graveyard "hate" to hopefully deal with Storm. They are all viable for Shadow and Infect so this sideboard should be pretty solid. If you have any suggestions I am more than happy to hear them.

Maybe run Orzhov Charm, for naive me it seems its the best thing death's shadow decks can gain from splashing white (to compliment the usual UB).
After all its a good removal, a good way to loose life, and can reanimate your titular card.

Drknative
I don't mean to subtract from the originality of your idea but your deck is pretty similar to various forms of ponza, so i would suggest looking up some primers on that, and on this new and spicy list - and the associated page on reddit.
As a rule of thumb anything that is big and mean (in green and/or red) is a good cadidate for inclusion, and due to the flexible nature of this "archetype" there is a lot of room for individual creativity.
So the best idea is probably to scroll through gatherer.wizards.com

I would also warmly welcome an kind of constructive criticism on my deck!

January 29, 2018 8:51 a.m.

Xica your list looks sweet! The only card i would suggest would be Bedlam Reveler. Looting is great for manipulating whats in you hand but it still results in one less card in your hand. Casting reveler often times feels like a 2 mana treasure cruise, but in your deck will also provide another powerful discard effect!

I've been testing my list MythicalScepter and it's a blast to play! But i would love some advice to fine tune it
