4:0 at FNM but still needs a few more competitive tweaks

So I took this brew to FNM and went 4:0, beating a mono black infect, urzatron and 2 x affinity decks. So it's competitive. Certainly as competitive as UW Emeria Titan builds.

There's still a few tweaks I wanted to get feedback on

3 x Titans. A few times I drew double Titan in the opening hand, so interested in people's views on dropping to 3.

Landbase. Feels like we could swap in a few check lands. Maybe minimise some of the damage from the shock lands. Anybody land base experts out there?

Legion's Initiative for Lightning Helix? It feels cute but not sure we can forgo removal + life gain.

Are there budgetary concerns? If not, more fetches less shocks. I do think you should go down to 3 titans and I feel that Legion's Initiative is bad.

Hey bromerta. Not really (own most of the list already). Yeah that was my gut feel on legion's initiative.

Terminate is going to be stronger than Lightning Helix and possibly even Path to Exile. In the current meta, it's one of the reasons people play black and red.

Liliana, Heretical Healer  Flip seems hilarious in this deck, but you may not have room for her.

Have you tried the deck with Liliana of the Veil and Lingering Souls? What's the consensus on these? Lingering Souls is just good value and helps you grind down Affinity. Liliana of the Veil is pretty degenerate with Sun Titan, since you just discard your dood, then bring him back for free, while making your opponent discard a card.

Alesha, Who Smiles at Death seems like it could do a good impression of Sun Titan while not clogging up your hand early on. Also, i don't think you really want 4 Emeria, The Sky Ruin, maybe cut that down to 2 or 3. You definitely need to cut down on the shocklands and add more fetches. Not only does this allow you to hit your colors more easily, but Sun Titan allows your fetches to be pseudo land drops.

Hey sylvannos. Yeah, need to test some variations in the removal mix.

Liliana, Heretical Healer  Flip is interesting. The main slot that's flexible is the Fleshbag Marauder utility creature slot. May have to test and see.

Lingering Souls suits other Mardu builds but probably not this, because of the lack of recursion off Titan or ETB off Flickerwisp.

I did have Liliana of the Veil down in the test list, but again, not sure if it's quite the right fit.

Hey elementalheroflamewingman do like Alesha. Maybe for another build. This is quite defensive and keeps creatures back to chump block a lot before Titan comes online. Maybe there's a more aggressive brew with Mogg War Marshal or similar.

Yeah feels like Emeria may be a little high. Especially as it comes in tapped

Draw_Wurm Alesha, Who Smiles at Death can be seen as a temporary Sun Titan. The first strike is great during block, and even if it dies, Sun Titan can get it back later. It's really just the extra copies of your value creatures, which can be quite essential in prolonging the game.

Hey elementalheroflamewingman. It's a good shout. Will need to test it out!
