3 colors for spot removal?

So i have a curious question for everyone, do you think going 3 colors for only your removal package is to much? Mana isn't the problem with fetch lands as long as you willing to pay the price.

I have mostly always been a mono coloured player, hate drawing the wrong lands for cards in hand. Recently started using Abzan and actually really enjoy it. It depends if you are going full tri colour or just splashing a third, how balanced the mana is and what deck you are using it for...

When you have Dismember, there is no need to go for a third color.

What colors are you playing/considering playing? I feel like every two color combination has some form of removal in Modern, unless you are just looking for more/diverse removal.

Without a deck link it's hard to tell if its worth it or not. As a general rule, if you don't have to splash into a third colour its probably better, not only in terms of mana screwing / Blood Moon, but also in terms of land count and hard costs.

For example, if you're wanting to play cards like Cryptic Command, your manabase has to be predominatly blue. This then means that you both have to run a higher land count / a much more fetch-shock heavy land base to ensure that you can get triple blue by turn 4. In contrast, a dual colour deck can much more easily include more check lands / filters meaning that they take less damage to get the same resources untapped.

Depends on the removal, what are you thinking?
