Why doesn't Urza have a card?

Okay, so I just recently (hate me if you want) found out about Mishra, Artificer Prodigy. I've read a bit into the lore and know some here and there stuff about Mishra and Urza, but my question is this:

Why doesn't Urza have a card representation if Mishra does? Is it because he's just too powerful and odd of a character to fit into a card or have WoTC just not felt like it?

You mean besides Blind Seer?

Well, Planeswalkers were like Gods in the old multiverse before the Mending. So WotC shied away from making cards of them because they would literally be gamebreaking.

Yeah, Id vote that the guy that was like 300 years old when he went to phyrexia and killed off thousands of phyrexians, and then managed to escape would be just a lil OP.

I don't see urza coming back into a standard environment ever. His storyline is finished, and unless they really wanted to add more, it's going to stay finished.

The only way he could be made into a card is through the commander pre cons.

Also keep in mind that Mishra was printed in Time Spiral, which was basically MTG's nostalgia set. The flavor text reflects that as the original story about Mishra had no interaction with time travel.

Urza's Rage.

The Japanese art from the Deul Deck shows Urza lighting up something.

Wotc could have done what they did with bolas, emrakul, and ugin and make their cards super powerful but make them really expensive ex

Urza, Super planeswalker 20Planeswalker-Urza+4 Make degenerate mana-whatever do other stupid stuff-Ultimate do a really stupid ult

Urza, First Planeswalker (cast off tron)

+2 Add to your mana pool. (mine, power plant)

+0 Add one mana of any color to your mana pool.

-2 Add to your mana pool. (tower)

-X Remove all counters from Urza, First Planeswalker: Draw X cards and add X mana to your mana pool, where x is the number of loyalty counters removed this way. (sacrificing self for greater good)

Base Loyalty: 3

Serendipitous_Hummingbird Look man I know we're trying to be careful not to create an OP card but come on - that would be the weakest planeswalker in existence considering he would just be a killable mana rock that costs 7. By the time you could cast him mana wouldn't be an issue.

His ultimate would have to be something like "Take an extra turn after this one" with his other abilities having something to do with direct damage.

I kinda feel like Urza wouldn't be Urza unless his card has something to do with making really powerful artifacts.

I think he would need something that would wipe out all permanents as his ult. He could create artifacts that gave mana as a -4 and then make 0/1 artifact creatures as his +2. That would play into his lore while also giving him protection and bringing his demise to the the game too. Just spit balling, but he could start with 4 points and cost 7 colorless and then have -9, exile all permanents in play and in all hands and graveyards. That would make him quite powerful though, so balancing my idea would be helpful. :P
