What Effect Have Jace's Absences Had on Ravnica?

Jace is the living guildpact of Ravnica, but he has been absent from that plane frequently and for long periods of time; thus far, the story has not mentioned what effects his absences are having on the plane, but I imagine that there are, indeed, effects, so I hope that the story addresses that subject before the battle against Bolas.

What does everyone else say about this? Will the story address the effects that Jace's absences have had on Ravnica?

I estimate that the entire Gatewatch story has taken approximately a year. Jace's part in that would look like this:

• about 2 months away fighting eldrazi on Zendikar and Innistrad

• 3 months on Ravnica playing house with his new friends

• a bit over a month on Kaladesh fighting a revolution

• almost a week on Amonkhet getting used as Nissa's bowling ball

• 3 months (or about half that depending on the version) on Ixalan learning how to be awesome

• the remaining ~2-3 weeks (?) of Dominaria he has been back on Ravnica after his rendezvous with the others on the Weatherlight

Looking back, he was away for a 2 month stretch and then 3 months later he disappeared for close to 5 months. Now he has returned with renewed respect for the job he has and a new sense of responsibility to do it well. He also returns with leveled up abilities and a new confidence of finally knowing who he is.

Hopefully this time-line assessment helps the discussion.
