Omnath and Eldrazi, same plane, any background?

I'm a bit lost on how these godlike entities have had zero contact with each other while rampaging the same plane. Are they saving up plot for some Godzilla battle? Or did I already miss something.

Two eldrazi (Emrakul and Kozilek) are wandering off in the BLind Eternities. Ulamog is the only remaining eldrazi on Zendikar.

While Omnath is a powerful natural force of Zendikar, his power is nowhere near the power of the Three Titans. The only person who has successfully combatted the Titans is a pre-Mending Ugin, and even then he couldn't outright defeat them. I'm sure Omnath could do a good job defeating much of the brood lineage, but never the Titans.

That said, I really wanna see what role Omnath will play in the future lore.

Okay so what you guys are saying is that Omnath has basically done nothing so far. Although GoldGhost012, what evidence do you have that Omnath isn't on the same power level as Eldrazi? I know in card form he's nothing comparable. But lore wise, from what I've read, he's basically an entire plane's mana incarnate, bound in a prison of hedrons (not unlike the Eldrazi). I'm really feeling an Godzilla plot coming up where big, scary, destuctive Omnath is unleashed to battle Ulamog.

We don't quite know what Omnath's power level is in the lore, since he's never been in any of the stories other than, and this is just an assumption based on this, but I would be willing to be he's still weaker than the Titans. Omnath may be the purest manifestation of Zendikar's mana, but the Titans devour entire planes for their day jobs. The more of the plane they devour, the less mana available and the weaker Omnath gets, right? I mean, it sounds logical to me.

I'm not going to deny that an Omnath vs. Ulamog showdown would be epic as hell though.

omnath is a young little thing compared to the titans. as Gold said, pre mending power wasnt enough to beat them. pre mending was almost unlimited. omnath is mana - they feed on that stuff. the prisons were much different, hedrons is only the style they use on zendikar. the eldrazi prison was way more complicated and way older. but i think you are right about omnath helping to fight ulamog very soon... not alone ofc: zendikar vs eldrazi (not the box)

@GoldGhost012 Well, that makes sense. Hmm, now just to hope that the story does eventually include Omnath.

PepsiAddicted I have no idea how old Zendikar is or Eldrazi for that matter but I think Omnath was imprisoned long before the eldrazi were discovered. I can definitely see how he might not be eldrazi power level though.
